came home from work today, alone for now, took clothes off, washed up, turned on comp and noticed that my settings were different.. when i turned on internet explorer, my homepage was the original bing blobble and gasp, when i looked for my webcam photos -- ALL GONE. EVERYTHING. TODO.

i immediately chick-panicked and called my dude, like any good damsel in distress would, explained the sitch and in my cutest fix-this voice i asked if he'd any inkling into what it could be.. let me also add that he's good at tech junk so this wasnt really a shot in the dark type ques, i mean, i had faith. alas, he was a lil pre-occupied with work [that's My man!] so he comforted me by telling me not to worry and he'd get it to work when he "got home."*

yeah, when a chick who has BratLife tatted on her hand, asks you to fix something [and this is nothing against my man, this speaks more about me] she would like it done in a timely fashion and that most often than not and by that i mean Always, means NOW. I WANT IT NOW. call me Veruca Salt, biatch, it wouldnt be the first.

so i did what any other brat would do.. i started opoening all the programs up myself. i mean, ive never had a computer before other than at work but thats 9-5, so with this new laptop i have, i kind of just use it for the net and the webcam, and dont bother getting to know the thing. plus, im a stoner and i'll just get into something else when i have free time.

turns out it wasnt such a hard fix. apparently there was some update on my comp last night while we were napping and when i turned my computer off, some how my settings got wiped, i mean you know. everything. so i did a system restore and low and behold everything's back to normal!!

GO MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

i dont even know what a system restore is exactly, but i figure its just that; restoring your comp to its settings prior to the update. rocket. science. and i still dont know why that update caused that, but i called the boo and asked him to bring me a cd to backup all my files just in case anything ever happens again AND he can figure that out tonight, just let me do what i want Right Now. And anyway, i already lost the flash drive that had all my pictures on em in Vegas when we went for my birthday but that was amazing and i figure, eh. win some. lose some. and A LOT of those pictures arent even relevant to my life anymore so go fuck yourself :)

and in conclusion, I RULE. and us women can do Any Thing we put our minds to if we really want it bad enough and anyone who knows me personally knows that when i Want Something, I Get It.
